Santa Fe Classic Theater
Santa Fe Classic Theater is dedicated to presenting works of classic playwrights, from Sophocles to Shakespeare to Simon.
We're pleased to announce the continuation of our classic reading series “Off the Page". We will present three staged readings in 2025-26 for our Santa Fe audience: Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard in November, Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit in January and Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead in February, 2026.

Chekhov Workshop
Led by Clare Davidson & Kelly Kiernan, this workshop will seek to prove Chekhov's famous assertion that The Cherry Orchard is indeed
a "comedy in four acts."
Open to both company members and other students.

Our 10th Anniversary
Perhaps “the Scottish Play” isn’t so bad. After a successful production of Macbeth at the Santa Fe Playhouse in 2015, a group of actors met to brainstorm about launching a Shakespearean theater company in Santa Fe. Thank you for the last 10 years!
2025 Shakespeare in the Garden
We are extremely disappointed to announce that our contract with the Santa Fe Botanical Garden to produce the beloved event, Shakespeare in the Garden, will not be renewed for 2025. This announcement, however, does not mean the end for Santa Fe Classic Theater. Learn more and get involved.
Volunteer with SFCT
Our productions require 50 volunteers for ushers, parking lot attendants and more! Volunteers receive free tickets to the show, and are a much-needed part of our team.
